Spirits: Part 9

The activity has quieted down since the investigation. They still come in and watch me, because at times I can feel their energy. I say they because I don't believe that David would come in by himself and leave Anna and the boy alone. One of them or both always seem to be with him so he can control them. But like I said, they're being quiet -- however, they're hanging around. I wonder if it might be out of curiosity -- why some spirits hang around after they've been acknowledged by the living.

Imagine roaming around for 100+ years and scaring people, but now all of a sudden - these people know your name and parts of your story. Affirmation. It's human nature to be affirmed and recognized -- even as a spirit - they still retain human emotions. Although I'm not gifted like Christy is, I can sometimes sense their energy and I acknowledge them when I do... unless Monkey Girl is around. Hard to say. I sometimes have questions on top of questions when I begin wrapping my mind around this and believe me when I say that I've been doing a lot of that.

I've been scouring the internet on anything regarding the paranormal and hauntings. It's in my nature to learn as much as I can on any subject that interests me or something I'm experiencing. I can say, it has given me more strength - I'm not scared anymore. I still get a little wigged out about it because there's still so much unknown about it - but these particular entities don't scare me anymore. However, I would still like them to go away.
